A male Goldeneye was the first for a couple of weeks, maybe a bird here to winter rather than passage. A couple of counts either side of the high tide showed the continuing arrival - 350 Wigeon, 620 Lapwing, 270 Golden Plover. Other waders included 35 Curlew, 28 Redshank, 1 Greenshank, 1 Bar-tailed Godwit and 25 Dunlin. (sev obs)
