The amazingly punctual Carew greylags continue to pass over the house morning and night. Yesterday morning returning from an early shopping trip I was in time to see a lone straggler flying over at 0750. At 16.50, all 30-odd returned in the gathering darkness. This morning, I caught the flock heading SSE. Their flight path, which only varies by a degree or two, would take them somewhere between Manorbier and Lydstep.
