Rob Lewis reports water levels good on the Corse, and a female marsh harrier. As we've both observed, the barn owl is feeding well in the hide.
Re Bob's reference to Carew - this morning, a minimum of 300 gulls were resting in a tight group on Carew football pitch, across the road from the Millpond and castle, plus a hundred or so on the water. I only saw herring, lesser black-backs and black-headed, but am checking them from time to time.
