Late morning at the Corse there were 2 Marsh Harriers over the reedbed - an adult female and a juv. A Merlin flew past close to the hide and then gave some prolonged flight views. Two guys in the hide also had seen a Peregrine and a Kestrel.
Quite a few Snipe about but few duck with 2 Mallard and 13 Teal. c. 150 Lapwing flew in to the North side of the Corse and there were a further 100 or so in a field on the South side near the pines. A few small flocks of Starlings were about but other than a couple of Stonechats and 5 Goldfinch no other small birds.
