Met Jack Williams with Dad Paul and Brenig at Dowrog yesterday evening . They had already seen one ring-tail when I arrived just before 4pm. A barn owl appeared at circa 4.10pm and we had great views of it hunting on the north side of the road before the arrival of first one then a second male hen harrier . We were privileged to watch the harriers interact and fly together for some time before one of them put up and briefly pursued a short-eared owl . The harriers flew together across the road and then off potentially in the direction of the airfield .
