Large numbers of Golden Plover flying south between Mesur-Y-Dorth and Croesgoch about 1 pm yesterday (New Year’s Day): certainly 600 and perhaps as many as 750 in a number of flocks, and 200-300 Lapwing. Also a couple of Great Northern in Fishguard harbour (Goodwick side of the breakwater) shortly after the ferry departure on New Year’s Eve.
