From Phil Baber and Pam Buckle who have just moved from Ceredigion to Pembroke - Welcome!
A couple of people have posted that they've been seeing pre-roost flocks of Starling heading south of Pembroke near dusk.
Since
we've been here we've had a good flow of large flocks heading south
every evening. They all seem to be heading on a bearing which would see
them reaching Elegug Stacks if they hit the coast. So, it can be
considered they are heading for Castle Martin Ranges or some place
before then. All flocks streaming on the same bearing and cresting the
hill where we are. It's more evident when the weather is poor and
dismal.
