A nice walk on Dinas Mountain this morning produced a couple of nice surprises 3 male Black Redstarts together,2 of which where in stunning plumage. The other surprise was a male Dartford Warbler. Plenty of singing Skylarks but I couldn't find any Wheatears.
Tuesday at Llanychaer 3 Crossbills one a nice male also 3 Fieldfares ,there are still several Redwings about in the woods.
