Plumstone Yellowhammers

Two Yellowhammers were in a favoured sunny spot near the pony stables after lunch, sheltered from the easterly wind with the local temperature about 20 degrees, a couple of miles away at Roch it was only 13. There was no singing, but a lot of calling.

Yesterday at Stackpole Head a confiding Raven seemed to want to pose and have a chat. I think it may have been curious about my attempts at cronking to him, especially as I was wearing black.
