What was presumably a different (though also a male) Little Ringed Plover at the Gann this afternoon, 9 days on from the previous record. It was on an island in the river above the wooden footbridge around 1530, and later (David Ord) roving between there, the lagoon, and the beach.
Other birds included a Knot, 3 Black-tailed Godwit, 9 Dunlin, 9 Sandwich Tern (flew over towards Philbeach) and my first Whimbrel of the year (3 over, 1 on the lagoon).
Additional records from Jack on Twitter (@JJ08746342) included 7 Whimbrel, 2 Bar-tailed Godwit, 18 Brent Geese (there have been up to 42 in the last week), a Common Sandpiper, a Stock Dove, 3 Mediterranean Gull, 2 Snipe and a female Red-breasted Merganser.
