Gann

Beautiful evening at the Gann today.  A nice selection of waders (10 species), including 15 Whimbrel, 29 Ringed Plover, 24 Dunlin, 1 Sanderling, 2 Bar-tailed Godwit, and 2 Black-tailed Godwit.

4 Wheatears (1 male, 3 female) were all rather large looking and presumably bound somewhere north (and west?).

Amongst the Oystercatcher, yellow X4 is still present.  After the stay here last April-June (with at least one brief visit to Skokholm), it was back in Ireland from August to February 2022.  So is potentially a Pembrokeshire breeder, and an Irish winterer??
