A nice red breeding plumage Curlew Sandpiper was with one of at least 3 mobile wader flocks as the tide came in this evening. At least 10 Ringed Plover and 54 Dunlin - but the earlier flock with the Sanderling appeared to have moved on...An adult Mediterranean Gull this eve too.
On Thursday - 2nd June, a breeding plumage Black Guillemot was seen off Cemaes Head from a boat. Of interest a Black Guillemot was seen off Bardsey (c70km north) the same day and one off Newquay (c22km east) the previous day. The Goodwick breeding birds are c20km west.
