A belter of a breeding plumage Grey Plover at the Gann this morning. Small waders number 35 Dunlin, 15 Ringed Plover and 2 Sanderling. The 2 Shelduck chicks live to fight another day, but we possibly lost a brood of Mallard this morning...a drake has been hanging around for a while, this morning a female joined him but without any offspring. The Med Gull (2CY) lingers.
