Yesterday (Sunday) there were several flocks of Chough around Tenby Golf course and at one time a flock of at least 34 in the sky together. The course is very dry but they seem to be probing in the short fairway turf in places but also in the slightly damper hollows. Still seem to be decent numbers of juveniles too, I was worried that they might struggle in these dry conditions. The next week is going to be tough for them.
A couple of really big corvid roosts beginning to form at Dale and St Brides now - worth an evening down by the water just to watch the fly past just before dark.
