Less waders over the high tide this morning, but a juvenile Curlew Sandpiper was new. 2 Knot remained, along with a Turnstone, 2 Dunlin and 2 Ringed Plover. No Wheatear to be seen anywhere.
3 adult Mediterranean Gull on the lagoon include one which was conveniently stood on a a clump of mud revealing its red colour ring PHAL: a familiar bird, seen by me at Hook on 12/1/2020 and then the Gann on 24/12/2020. It will be interesting to see if it has been seen anywhere else since, it was ringed as an adult male in Poland on 15/5/2019 here.
