From Sandra Coates-Smith: Monday 12 - Leonardston
A set aside strip in the field at the back of the garden has been
planted with a variety of seeds this year increasing the number of bird
species seen there. Linnets and a flock of mixed finches including
several greenfinch were feeding on sunflower heads
until late November. Now a male and female blackcap are currently
regular visitors.
