Good numbers of birds this morning, well over a 1000 Lapwing with two big flocks flying high & circling over Trehill as well as those on the mere itself. Something unseen to me spooked everything putting up about fifty Snipe & some 20 Teal, though the Wigeon didn`t seem troubled by whatever it was, six Tufted duck still & nice to see six Gadwall.
