Llys-y-fran

One of those funny roosts tonight. The early BH gulls were split into 3 widely spaced groups. The bonus was one of the Glaucous gulls was in among the nearest group just beyond the eastern inlet at 3:45pm before flying off south at 4:10pm and not seen again.

Steady drizzle and mist hampered the views especially as dusk fell. Otherwise: 7 Mediterranean gull (6 adult, 1 2cy) and single adult Yellow-legged gull. 7 Goldeneye (5m). 350 Canada geese, most for a while. Nice to meet visiting Gloucester birders Liz and Dave.
