Hi Pembrokeshire birds,
Visiting birder with a whistle stop tour. Pembroke Mill pond on Saturday
Cattle Egret and two Eurasian Teal then onto Angle with 29 Brent Geese,
mixed wader flock including Dunlin, Redshanks, Turnstones and Black
Tailed Godwits. Also seen here 8 Snipe and a
Kingfisher. A very brief visit to Bosherston Lily Ponds we saw just a
single Goosander but heard 3 Chiffchaff in full song. Just before we
left a Red Kite drifted over Freshwater East and a Firecrest at the back
of Trewent Chalet Park.
