While driving towards Carmarthen on the A40 yesterday we saw several distant, high skeins of geese passing over Bancyfelin and flying South. Numbers were hard to judge while driving, but I reckon there were around 150 to 200 birds, but it was not possible even to hazard a guess at identification. A lovely sight and an indication of the turning of the seasons.
