Mid morning at West Williamston an Osprey was perched on the tall post upstream in the Carew River and another was fishing at the mouth of the river towards Lawrenny. Heavy drizzle set in so I abandoned the visit.
Early afternoon I tried again as the tide was dropping and an Osprey (a juvenile) was fishing in the Cresswell River, at one point being mobbed by a juv Peregrine as a Buzzard passed overhead. It headed off towards Cresswell then returned and stayed around in various locations around the Carew and Cresswell Rivers occasionally fishing.
