Saturday and today - adult (4CY+) ♂ marsh harrier hunting along the N side of the reedbed - likely the one who's been here since the start of August. A 1CY ♀ peregrine (who was also here on Saturday) made a couple of passes at him, but he gave her the brush-off. A kestrel was hunting over the fen meadow. On Saturday a sparrowhawk was chasing linnets up at Gupton, buzzard over the Corse.

Wetland birds - just 3 grey heron, 3 snipe, coot and water rail heard, plus Cetti's. Otherwise just meadow pipits, 8 skylark, 8 pied wagtail, 4 stonechat, lots of linnets - no other migrants.
