On Monday (13th) a late Osprey flying along the South Beach and yesterday (14th) an excellent candidate for adult Caspian Gull on Tenby Golf Course foraging for worms alongside a , much smaller, adult Herring Gull. At about 10m distance there was a tiny smudge of grey streaking on the top of the birds head but otherwise a brilliantly white head.
Last weekend many more Redwing around (already reported) but also Firecrest trapped and ringed at Dale and at Kilpaison. A good autumn for this species it seems.
