Marloes Mere Sunday lunchtime

Yes, we were also surprised to see a Goldeneye! The usual ducks were present plus 3 Tufties and a few visible Snipe. The fields below Trehill were carpeted in birds - we estimated 500 - 1000 Lapwings and the same number of Golden Plovers. Also plenty of Starlings and Jackdaws in the mix.
