Whilst unsuccessfully scanning the skies last night at 1:30 for signs of the Aurora I could hear a Grashopper Warbler reeeling away down in the marsh the whole time I was there. It was also singing during an earlier attempt at 22:45. Do they sing all night to attract an overflying female I wonder?
