A very big thank you goes to Dave Astins who again got a 'is this a ......' message and very kindly confirmed it was one of the two species I had got it down to!
Seen on the 17th November at Castlemartin Corse.
At time I thought a Redshank had flown off and I just grabbed a few shots as bird flew away hoping to just get a record shot. I have only just got around to reviewing the images and it is that moment of opening an image to review and going, BIG oops, that is not what I thought it was!!!
I happened to have got a few images of the rear end of a Lesser Yellowleg!!!
So sorry that this is a rather belated sighting report.
