Very few Starlings turned up at the Minwear roost this afternoon, just a flock or two of about 30 and 2 birds late on. The roost has obviously moved, I wonder where they have gone....?
There were compensations in the form of c20 Redshank, Common sand, Greenshank, Little Grebe a red-head Goosander that flew down river, and the highlight a male Goshawk that flew over the valley quite low..
