Yesterday (Saturday 19th) a visit to the Iron Bridge Newport revealed seven red head Goosanders resting on the furtherest gravelly end of the large island above the bridge which seems strange! It may be youngsters that have been moved on from their parents terretories i guess... Also a single Common Sandpiper there and another on the Green Breakwater, Fishguard Harbour on Thursday.
