Sanderling at Fishguard Harbour.

Whilst watching Bottlenose Dolphins off the Outer Breakwater yesterday afternoon a party of four sanderling breifly popped down on the seawards side concrete blocks in front of us. I still have not seen a wheatear this spring despite searching for them on the Preselis around Strumble and the breakwater. I know some have been seen but i get the feeling something must have happened either on their southern migration last autumn or their northern migration this spring. I just noticed this blog has had five and a quarter million page views since it started! Its a great resource, for local and visiting birders, big pat on the back to Rich Crossen for starting it!
