George Mee found a Pec Sandpiper on Dowrog Pool, early this morning. Along with a Wood sandpiper, 3 Green Sandpiper, 3 Little ringed plovers, 3 ruff, a dunlin and about 20 snipe. The Pec sand was seen again later by George around 3pm.
I had a look in the evening no sign of the Pec sand, just the Wood sandpiper, couple of Green sandpiper and a single Litle ringed plover plus about 10 snipe. Whilst chatting to Steve Jones who'd also been there in the morning with George, a flock of small waders flew off that must have been hidden in the divets and small pools. I left Toby P there still looking when I left.
