Rather quiet walk around the Head this afternoon but 4 White Wagtails were near Trefelli Fm and another 3 on the Golf Course; just a few Willow Warblers and 2 Chiffchaffs. A steady trickle of hirundines heading into the wind were mostly Swallows but with good numbers of Sand Martins and just 4 House Martins. This is the second Slow Worm I've seen here this spring, the first was dangling from a Buzzard's talon at the end of March, which seemed early to me, as well as unlucky. I almost stepped on the female Adder but she warned me off.
