Dinas Head

Rough count of 270 guillemots on the ledges at Needle Rock this morning. Didn't see any razorbills. A close fly-by from a peregrine was really nice. A kestrel and a few buzzards too. Has anyone else seen a leucistic magpie at Lower Town? There was one around over Christmas, usually near the fort car park with five or so other magpies. I was wondering whether it's been around for a while and I just haven't run into it before. A dozen golden plovers on Dinas Mountain this evening. No wind at all. What a fabulous day...
