A ringtail Hen Harrier was hunting in Porthmelgan valley and there were a few Meadow Pipits present; along with Pied Wagtails they are often the earliest migrants so maybe things are stirring. Certainly plenty of frogspawn in the pond, more than yesterday but the early adder not out yet. At Crug Glas 8 (or more) Yellowhammers feeding at the barns.
