Dotterel still Plumstone

From Lionel Self: Just to let you know I saw the Plumstone Dotterel amongst the grass and heather on the SW side of the Rock at about 2-30pm today. My sighting was very clear but also very brief. The broad white head stripe gleamed brightly in the sun but before I could get my binoculars on to close up, the bird had disappeared not to be seen in the next forty minutes.
