A mini-fall of Willow Warblers today: probably several dozen given the frequency with which they popped out of the sallows and scrub all along the valley. Also 3-4 Blackcaps, 2 Whitethroats, and a Reed Warbler. Flocks of 20-30 Linnets regularly dropping down to bathe in the stream, and smaller numbers of Goldfinches.
On the Deer Park, a flock of 23 Chough yesterday afternoon, one Whimbrel over, and a group of 4 Turnstone that flew at chest-height in the direction of Skomer!
