A juvenile Curlew Sandpiper was on the Webley Saltmarsh, Teifi Estuary as the high tide dropped this morning.
Waders included 2 Knot, a Turnstone, 2 Redshank, a Common Sandpiper, 3 Sanderling, 20 Dunlin and 14 Ringed Plover.
Sandwich Terns were dropping on to the sand as it uncovered to rest and preen. A maximum of 33 were recorded. One was colour ringed but the last letter was not visible with the Tern standing in soft mud.
Earlier, further upstream on the Teifi Marsh 3 Greenshank and a Green Sandpiper were flying around calling.
Passing the mouth of the estuary during a short seawatch ; 2 Great Skuas and a continual passage of Sandwich Terns and Kittiwakes.
