West Williamston Greylags

A Greylag family party on the shore of the Carew River at West Williamston this morning. They were about 500m away when I first spotted them lying down on the shore: I advanced over the saltmarsh at great personal risk until I was about 200m away, when they got up and started walking. Hard to be sure, I was sinking into the mud, but it looked like at least 4 well-grown juvs and 2-3 adults.
