From David Ord:
A visual at 08-40h this morning of a bird consistent with Mike Duckham’s reported Hume’s Warbler. Standing on the high viewpoint over Slash Pond, a bird perched briefly in full, unobstructed view about 20ft in front of me. Long enough for me to note a dull green warbler of the right size and shape with one obvious, albeit dull, wing bar. Oddly, I did not notice its supercilium, but did not have time to consciously look at the head to note the features - as I raised my binoculars it flew off into the dense bushes. I couldn’t relocate it. At this particular time it was moving on its own.
