So OK not great pic's but a record at least and given it was almost dark, lucky to get anything at that range! One but probably two Male Hen Harriers this evening. The first came in from the north skirted around and over the road ,back behind us looking as if it was crossing the main road and heading for the airfield.
Our second sighting was of a male (the one pictured) hunting the moor in front of us. showed well until it pounced on something, and did not reappear. Pretty sure not the same birds but can't be certain!
