It turns out there have been firecrests in the Carew area all along, just not in the same place as last winter. These sensational pictures were taken by Amy C in a garden in the Carew-Sageston area recently, also a nuthatch that Amy took today just along Paddock Lane from Carew Cheriton (just where the path diverges from the stream).
