From David Ord. After weeks of no-show it was something of a relief to see two of ‘our’ swallows return yesterday. This is exactly 3 weeks later than in 2020 which was a typical year.
Before breakfast today, a trog round Dale airfield was notable mainly for a flock of 24 Choughs feeding in the grass around the coastal path close to the houses in the small valley. A visit to The Gann gave up Dave’s Curlew Sandpiper, a couple of smart Redshank, 5 Whimbrels and 3 Curlews.
