Whimbrel and Swifts

Whilst looking for moths on Sunday night at Ty Rhyg four groups of Whimbrel flew over calling constantly in the fog heading northwards. Today a Swift over Crymych and another over Blaen Cleddau. At St Brides this evening Rock pipit feeding young on the shore, two Grasshopper Warblers singing along the path towards Nab Head and a Lesser Whitethroat keeping the stonechats company. Six Emperor moths also flying about busy looking for mates.
