Marloes Mere: Yellow wagtail in the sheep field beside the car park. Little grebe feeding 4 youngsters. 2 Ruff and a Green sandpiper out from the Britton Hide. 6 juvenile Teal. Heron and a Little egret dropped in before flying west. Good to see Andy S and Derek for first time in months. Left it a bit late getting to the Gann, but first bird was a Wood sandpiper calling somewhere in the gloom, I could just make out at least 20 each Ringed plover and Dunlin. 19 white blobs in the sycamores at 9:15pm, 17 looked good for Little egret, 2 others may have been herons.
